Impact Bodywork and Precision  completely rebuilt this Porsche 911 SC to concours standard and the car features in Classic Porsche magazine. The late SC (known as the high compression SC) was the model with which Porsche reversed the decision to discontinue the 911 model range. It featured a high compression engine with significant power increase (204 bhp) forming a bridgehead for Porsche until the re launch of the Carrera in 1984. This example has undergone a bare metal respray and rebuild including a rebuilt and re tuned engine. The project is a good example of the company’s 360 degree skills base all work being conducted on site.

3.2 Carrera

Our company set out last year to build an exceptional Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2. Inspired by our passion for Porsche we wanted to bring to market a fully restored, as-new from factory example of arguably the most reliable, and recognisable 911 that Porsche made during the impact bumper years.

The project show cases our capabilities and offers an outstanding car that is in every respect original Porsche and not a tribute vehicle or replica. We have chosen to finish the car with some early Carrera parts, only where appropriate, including chrome and specially polished alloys as offered as options on Carrera models at that time due to the popularity of this look and to save weight.

964 backdate

We're in the process of back-dating this lovely 964 Carrera C2 to take on the look of a pre-1974 non-impact bumper 911 complete with chrome look trim and style of the earlier cars. Creature comforts to include air-conditioning, power steering, power brakes central locking and a few other features to make the car useable for long road trips, all weather use and fun at the track. We love getting stuck into projects like this, so if you're planning on doing one, talk to us first and keep watching this space for further updates and photos.

993 colour change

We completed a colour change from Slate Grey to Riviera Blue for our client's Porsche 993 Coupe. The car was delivered to us having come from Southbound where it received a full Porsche Can-Can Red interior. Cars of this age do tend to suffer from some rust and so we have replaced the chassis legs, sills and both front wings. It looks exquisite now it's finished and is a credit to its owner.
